Our cleaning method brings back and preserves the beauty of your oriental rugs. We also have sun-drying facilities in the spring and summer. You need to have a professional person that recognizes dyes that might run during the cleaning process and has a place for washing and hanging rugs and the personnel to handle the weight of the rug which is 3 to 4 times heavier when cleaned and wet. This kind of care and attention is not done with surface cleaning and as long as customers cannot recognize the difference they will really think their oriental rug has been properly cleaned.

Most rug cleaning services clean only the front and back surfaces of oriental rugs with a soap foam and then hang the rugs to dry. This short-cut method leaves soap and dirt residue deep within the rug. In time, with this process, the fibers will become stiff, dingy, and susceptible to dry rot. Some will bleach the fringe to give it a very white color which will eventually cause the fringe to fall apart.
